We have been called to the Mexico City Mexico Temple Mission. We are very trilled to be going to a Spanish speaking mission. I'm sure we will love the people that live there. We love going to the Spanish Branch on Sundays after we go to our Ward just to be with them. I felt we would be going on some kind of a Spanish speaking mission but we thought it would be Madrid Spain. We are not in the least bit disappointed where the Lord wants us to serve. We don't leave until February 9, 2009 but I'm sure we will have plenty to do before leaving.

OK Darla I will do that this Thursday when we look a little like missionaries. It looks like I will have to buy even longer skirts since the instructions say they need to be mid-calf. We are so excited :) :)
congrats!!! i'm so happy for you guys. i think felecia visited there a couple times when she lived in mexico...you'll have to ask her about it if you have questions.
make sure you post when your "farewell talk" is going to be. maybe we can come down for it.

Felecia e-mailed me and told me a little about the Temple there. I'm going to have to do a lot of research on Mexico City. Don't know much about it.

I am so excited for you two! Speaking spanish and serving in the temple, such a bonus! I kept hoping that I would serve a temple mission, like Nauvoo. Of course I loved my mission and wouldn't change it in the world but I think temple missions are so great!
